About the Team:

Join our Swisscom DevOps Center (SDC) community and take on a key role in supporting and developing our people within the Identity & Access Management (IAM) department in Latvia and across our international SDC organization.

You will support a community of around 20 employees, working closely with SDC teams, Swisscom Units, local HR and Team Coaches. This is a people-focused leadership role in an international technology environment, where you will help our employees grow, perform at their best and stay connected!

The role combines people leadership, employee development, operational coordination and stakeholder management.

Experience as a Scrum Master, Team Coach or in a similar Agile environment would be a strong advantage.

About the Role:

As a People Lead with Scrum Master responsibilities, you will have full people leadership responsibility for employees across IAM, supporting their development, performance, engagement and overall employee experience.

You will build trusted relationships with employees, understand their needs and aspirations, and work closely with Team Coaches, HR and Swisscom Units to ensure effective people-related processes and collaboration across the organization.

In addition, you will provide Scrum Master support on demand to three teams, helping them strengthen their ways of working, collaboration and agile practices when needed.

What will you do:

People Leadership & Development

  • Lead and support a community of around 15-20 employees.

  • Build trusted relationships with employees through regular communication and proactive engagement.

  • Support individual development, career growth and continuous learning.

  • Drive talent, promotion and retention processes within your area.

  • Support performance management and address performance challenges when needed.

  • Coach and mentor employees and help them identify development opportunities.

  • Foster a culture of open communication, constructive feedback, transparency and continuous improvement.

Operational & HR Processes

  • Ensure that people-related processes are handled efficiently and in line with Swisscom and SDC policies and standards.

  • Provide business/unit-level pre-approvals for topics such as training, Work-from-Abroad and service travel.

  • Ensure that operational requirements such as time booking, chargeability, vacation planning, office presence and training-day planning are handled accurately and on time.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant processes, policies and governance requirements.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with other Team Coaches to support teams and coordinate people-related topics and leadership practices.

  • Collaborate with IAM Leadership team in Switzerland, local SDC leadership and HR to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

  • Keep employees informed about organizational goals, changes, initiatives and relevant deadlines.

  • Support alignment between SDC and Swisscom Unit objectives.

  • Help identify and resolve cross-team challenges and impediments.

  • Contribute to tactical and operational initiatives within the SDC community.

Hiring & Onboarding

  • Support and coordinate the hiring process from the partner perspective.

  • Contribute to defining job profiles and setting up hiring teams.

  • Participate in interviews and support hiring decisions.

  • Structure and oversee onboarding for new employees.

  • Salary from 4500 to 6000 EUR monthly gross.

Job requirements

  • Experience in people leadership, team leadership, HR, or a comparable people-focused leadership role.

  • Experience as a Scrum Master, Team Coach or in a similar Agile leadership role is a strong advantage.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and organizational levels.

  • Experience working in an Agile environment.

  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills and a genuine interest in people development.

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and take action.

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple topics and priorities.

  • Confidence in handling complex situations, making decisions and having difficult conversations when necessary.

  • Strong drive for continuous improvement.

  • Excellent English communication skills.
