As HR Generalist you will be responsible for both strategic and day‑to‑day operational tasks within the HR department. HR Generalist develops and implements current HR processes to promote best practices within the organization. In addition, the role supports and continuously improves all administrative and operational HR activities. In this role, you will work closely with HR Business Partners.
What you will do:
Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, relocation and daily employee inquiries
Oversee the HR ticketing system, record and process employee inquiries (travel, training etc. requests)
Coordinate and execute operational HR tasks, including maintaining employee records and managing absence information in the HR system
Oversee data accuracy across systems and tools, including preparation of data reports
Execute HR services and administrative tasks in compliance with local labor laws
Create and manage HR documents, including employment contracts, contract amendments, and termination documents
Drive daily and operational HR activities to ensure positive employee experience and smooth business operations
Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and provide proactive support on HR matters
Coordinate health and safety processes, communicate with the safety specialist, maintain documentation, and organize annual trainings

Job requirements
Experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, or HR Generalist role
Confidence working with HR data, reporting, and Excel
High attention to details and accuracy
Understanding of Latvian labor law and ability to apply it in daily HR operations
Experience preparing HR documents (employment contracts, amendments, terminations)
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset when supporting employees
Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
Good knowledge of Latvian and English
Nice to have:
Experience working in an international company or shared services environment
Experience with payroll preparation/cooperation with payroll providers
Knowledge of health & safety processes
Experience with HR ticketing systems
Exposure to process improvement or HR system implementations
