The product/ Team: 

As part of an agile team, you will ensure the operation, engineering, and further development of security orchestration for our data center and cloud solutions, and contribute to the implementation of firewall security policies. With our tools and developments, we orchestrate Swisscom Network Security. This includes integrating and operating interfaces and business logic for the data center and cloud platforms. We work in an agile organization and value flexibility and teamwork. Communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning are crucial to our success.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operation and further development of security solutions in the area of security orchestration

  • Operation tasks in the security operation process (workflow) and exception handling

  • Test automation and monitoring of the platform and application based on Swisscom's standard tools

  • Continuous optimization and smart automation of processes

Job requirements

What we expect: 

  • Several years of professional experience in complex IT environments and in-depth knowledge of network security (firewalls, routers, tools)

  • Good knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python)

  • Basic knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)

  • Confident handling of Unix operating systems (Linux)

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code

  • Experience with Test automation frameworks (e.g. Robot Framework)

  • Independent, resilient, and structured work style with with excellent ability to grasp complex concepts quickly

  • Completed studies (University/University of Applied Sciences/Higher Technical College) or equivalent qualification in computer science, business informatics, or relevant professional experience

  • Good English skills
