About the team:

We are excited to announce that we are setting up a new team in Riga, and we are looking for talented individuals to join us. You will be part of the API ART, responsible for developing and operating The Frame, Unified Platform, API Products, and EAI Microservices.
The Frame empowers developers to build microservices that are compliant by design, with built-in support for security, observability, logging, and integration with internal platforms. It provides a scalable end-to-end Java/Spring Boot foundation that adapts from simple applications to large enterprise ecosystems across Cloud Foundry and AWS.
With curated and continuously updated libraries and reusable code skeletons, The Frame reduces duplication, improves maintainability, and accelerates time-to-market, enabling teams to focus on business value instead of boilerplate code.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will

  • Develop, maintain, and support cloud-native microservices while adhering to secure software development best practices.

  • Implement and maintain testing, monitoring, logging, and observability solutions for microservices.

  • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments to AWS, Kubernetes, and on-premises platforms such as Cloud Foundry.

  • Embrace the "You Build It, You Run It" principle by taking ownership of services throughout their lifecycle, including development, deployment, monitoring, and production support.

  • Participate in backlog refinement, effort estimation, and sprint planning activities.

  • Coordinate delivery activities and technical discussion with the Product Owner and stakeholders based in Switzerland.

Job requirements

  • Java 17+, Spring Boot

  • Python

  • SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, MariaDB)

  • Good understanding of microservices architecture

  • Experience in REST API development

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and development tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Git, Maven, and related automation technologies

  • Proficiency in using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Kiro

    Nice to have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field

  • Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Kafka

  • Knowledge of AWS services

  • Willingness to take full ownership throughout the entire development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and operations

  • Open-minded, motivated, and curious to explore new technologies and topics
