The team/project:

The Massmarket Internet Device team develops and tests Swisscom's Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) - the internet devices used by millions of customers every day. Our portfolio includes the Internet-Box, WLAN-Box, and 5G Fixed Mobile Receivers, state-of-the-art gateways providing internet access via LAN, WLAN, and DECT.

  • Perform manual testing of firmware releases (sanity, feature, regression)

  • Analyse and reproduce issues raised by customers to support triage and resolution

  • Troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with the firmware supplier on fixes and feature changes to influence product quality
