We're expanding our footprint in Riga and actively seeking 50+ DevOps Engineers to join our growing teams within this year.

THE PRODUCT & TEAM:

You will join a dynamic team of approximately 20 German- and English-speaking colleagues responsible for application operations, security, and lifecycle management across a diverse IT landscape. The team onboards IT customer projects, supports the migration of legacy services to cloud platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and public cloud providers, and customises standard applications and automation (CI/CD, GitLab pipelines, IAM, logging, certificate management, monitoring).

We collaborate across disciplines throughout the entire lifecycle, respond flexibly to new requirements, and remain calm and solution-focused during incidents. The team also supports the development of new platforms and takes on coordination responsibilities.

 

As a DevOps Engineer you will:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of applications, from setup to monitoring and lifecycle management

  • Handle incidents, service requests, account orders, and customer onboarding

  • Improve application reliability and performance

  • Contribute to building and improving infrastructure, including VMs, Kubernetes, and CI/CD

  • Automate user administration, certificate management, monitoring, and logging

  • Evaluate and implement suitable AI use cases while ensuring secure data handling, traceability, and human oversight

  • Conduct threat modelling, develop security concepts, and perform data classification

  • Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection requirements

  • Optionally serve as Security Champion, working closely with architects and auditors

  • Support roadmap discussions, technical assessments, and drive standardisation and resilience initiatives

Job requirements

Job requirements

  • Degree in computer science from a higher technical college, university of applied sciences or university, or equivalent professional experience

  • Experience with Linux, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as GitLab

  • Understanding of IT security and compliance

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in complex VM, cloud, and hybrid environments

  • Proactive working style and a strong sense of ownership

Nice to have:

  • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certification or equivalent knowledge

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Elastic, Prometheus, and Grafana

  • Knowledge of IAM integration, including SAML, LDAP, and Active Directory

  • Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash

  • Experience with AI-assisted development or operations tools, such as coding assistants, anomaly detection, or automated log analysis
