We're expanding our footprint in Riga and actively seeking 50+ DevOps Engineers to join our growing teams within this year.

Team: You ensure the planning and execution of cross-application testing activities, coordinating a small team of test engineers.

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Developing Test Strategies and Plans: creating comprehensive test strategies and plans that align with requirements and ensure thorough coverage of functionalities

  • Managing the Testing Process: coordinating all phases of testing, including integration testing and acceptance testing

  • Leading the Test Team: mentoring, guiding, and supervising a team of testers, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment

  • Resource Allocation: allocating resources efficiently, managing workloads, and ensuring testing activities are completed within deadlines

  • Risk Management: identifying potential risks in the testing process and implementing corrective measures to mitigate them

  • Quality Assurance: ensuring the quality and functionality of the product by implementing rigorous testing procedures and standards.

  • Defining Testing Tools and Techniques: selecting suitable testing tools, methodologies, and best practices to optimize the testing process

  • Test Documentation and Reporting: preparing detailed test documentation, including test cases, and generating reports on testing activities and progress

  • Defect Tracking and Management: implementing and maintaining defect tracking systems to ensure timely identification, communication, and resolution of issues, and coordinating with development teams to address any defects found

  • Coordinating with Stakeholders: liaising with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and address any issues that arise during testing

  • Continuous Improvement: identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing activities

  • Evaluating Test Results: analyzing and interpreting test results, making recommendations, and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders

  • Leadership in Agile/DevOps Environments: facilitating testing in agile and DevOps settings, supporting continuous integration and delivery

  • Salary from 4500 to 6500 EUR monthly gross

  • 80 EUR monthly cell phone and internet allowance

Job requirements

What we expect: 

  • Proven Experience in Agile/DevOps Environments: demonstrated experience as a Test Manager in large-scale Agile and DevOps settings, with the ability to integrate testing seamlessly into continuous delivery pipelines

  • Expertise in Complex B2B Processes: extensive experience managing test strategies and execution for sophisticated B2B business processes, ensuring robust and reliable system performance

  • Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills: strong ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders, including DevOps engineers, with a personable and approachable demeanor that facilitates collaboration and understanding

  • Proficiency in English: fluent in English, both written and spoken, to articulate testing insights and coordinate effectively with international teams.

Nice-to-have

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, providing a solid foundation in technical and analytical skills

  • Technical Proficiency with Playwright: hands-on experience with Playwright for automated testing of web applications, enhancing testing efficiency and coverage

  • Industry Experience: previous experience in the Telecommunications sector, with familiarity in its unique challenges and testing requirements.
