We're expanding our footprint in Riga and actively seeking 50+ DevOps Engineers to join our growing teams within this year.

Team: You will work in small team of test engineers to ensure the quality of our e2e business processes, using both manual and automated testing methods.
Key responsibilities will include:
Developing Test Plans and Test Cases: designing detailed test plans and writing test cases based on product requirements and specifications to ensure comprehensive coverage and functionality verification
Conducting Manual Testing: performing manual testing to identify bugs and issues across different stages of the software development lifecycle, ensuring all aspects of the application are thoroughly vetted, mainly in the progressive functionality
Implementing Automated Testing: creating and maintaining automated test scripts using test automation tools to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency and repeatability
Analyzing Test Results: reviewing and analyzing test outcomes, documenting any defects or anomalies found, and working closely with the development team to facilitate prompt issue resolution
Collaborating with Development and QA Teams: working alongside developers and other quality assurance professionals to understand project requirements, establish testing criteria, and ensure that testing aligns with overall project goals
Executing Regression Testing: running regression tests to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities and that bug fixes have been implemented successfully
Maintaining Test Environments: setting up and managing test environments to accurately simulate real-world conditions and ensure reliable and consistent test execution
Participating in Continuous Improvement: contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance test processes, tools, and methodologies
Producing Test Documentation: documenting test processes, results, and any issues encountered, maintaining clear and organized records for future reference and compliance
Planning of Test data: ensuring, identifying test data requirements and ensuring to have it ready before start of testing

Salary from 3700 to 5500 EUR monthly gross
80 EUR monthly cell phone and internet allowance

Job requirements
What we expect:
Proven Experience in Testing: demonstrated experience in software testing, utilizing both manual and automated techniques to ensure product quality and reliability across diverse environments
Test Automation Skills: proficiency in designing and implementing automated test scripts using popular test automation tools such as Jira, Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks
Strong Analytical and Problem-solving Abilities: ability to systematically identify, analyze, and resolve defects and discrepancies, contributing to swift and efficient software improvement.
Technical Knowledge: solid understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and testing best practices to ensure comprehensive test coverage
Communication Skills: excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with development, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Proficiency in English: fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively document test results and communicate findings.
Nice-to-have:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, providing foundational skills in software and systems analysis
Experience with Specific Tools or Frameworks: hands-on experience with specific test automation tools like Playwright can be advantageous in enhancing testing capabilities
Industry Experience: previous experience in the Telecommunications sector or similar industries, offering insight into domain-specific testing challenges and requirements.
