The product/ Team:
We're a team of software developers in an interdisciplinary environment that drives the development and operation of a state-of-the-art network orchestration in close collaboration with our network engineering colleagues. We build and operate software to orchestrate a substantial data center core network that delivers various services to our clients. Through our services, customer-specific connectivity can be configured on the network in an automated way on demand. The fulfilment of the network devices is driven by Cisco NSO, the corresponding services are developed in Python.
As a team member:
In this role you will work in an interdisciplinary environment where software and network come together
You will be responsible for the development and extension of our NSO services built with Python that translate desired changes to network resources to actual network device configurations
Your work will directly affect the network connectivity of a large number of customers. In order to succeed, you are eager to understand the service as a whole and closely collaborate with colleagues from various areas
With automated testing you ensure built-in quality and working software at any time
You will develop new NSO services and features with Python
You will maintain and extend automated tests to ensure the quality
You will closely collaborate with network and software engineers to ensure functionality end-to-end
You are fluent in English and able to discuss technical details in a precise manner
You can extend and adapt the required tooling to meet our DevOps needs
What we offer:
Salary from 3300 to 5000 EUR monthly gross
80 EUR monthly Cell Phone and Internet Allowance

Job requirements
Knowledge of modern software engineering technologies and practices (Python)
Profound understanding of software design patterns
Solid understanding of REST APIs
Experience with Cisco NSO (or eagerness to learn it)
Eagerness and motivation to learn and grow
Basic understanding of working in an agile environment
You are reliable, self-motivated and solution-oriented
Good English communication skills (verbally and in writing)
Experience with network orchestration or network engineering is a huge plus
