The product/ Team: 

We are looking for a passionate SRE to work with the latest and greatest big data technologies, and build our newest hybrid Big Data Platform, on-premises and AWS. You have proven experience in system engineering, can handle networking and security challenges, and have contributed to architectural concepts and technologies, then check out our main activities.

As a part of the team you will: 

  • Ensure the reliability, scalability and performance of our hybrid platform, built around Ceph and Kubernetes technologies

  • Design, build and maintain our on-premises and cloud-based Infrastructures using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles

  • Support the onboarding of new projects and provide 24/7 on-call support for production systems

  • Salary from 3300 to 5000 EUR monthly gross

Job requirements

What we expect:

  • Expertise in systems engineering (Linux, networking, system security)

  • Some experience in Software Development for automation, and platform integration (e.g. Python, Java, Go, C++)

  • Extensive experience in managing scalable distributed systems (e.g. Ceph, Kubernetes, Hadoop)

  • Experience working in an environment that follows Infrastructure as a Code pattern (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, ArgoCD)

  • Experience in using and adapting IT monitoring and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki)

  • Good communication and English skills

  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, reliable, accountable and pragmatic

  • Proactive, solution-oriented and eager to continuously bring our services to the next level
