The team/project:

Swisscom’s Martech crew manages a sophisticated marketing technology stack that delivers cross-brand, multi-channel, and AI-driven personalized experiences. Data quality, governance, and integration are central to this work. At Swisscom, we are also developing a modern data mesh platform to enable sustainable, rapid, and governed value extraction from data. Joining our team means contributing to the seamless integration and sharing of data between the marketing stack and the broader data mesh, tackling complex challenges, and collaborating with talented engineers in an innovative, forward‑thinking environment. 

You will:

  • Extend and integrate the Martech platform within Swisscom’s distributed data mesh architecture. 

  • Monitor and optimize platform performance, driving improvements and enhancing profile identification techniques across all communication channels. 

  • Design and document data structures to enable business teams to effectively generate insights, build audiences, and activate both inbound and outbound marketing use cases.

  • Salary from 1600 to 2900 EUR monthly gross

Job requirements

Must have:

  • Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, monitoring, and migrating marketing platform data structures and integrating them with external source systems

  • Strong proficiency in Python and solid working knowledge of AWS technologies. 

  • Proven expertise in building, testing, and deploying scalable data pipelines, ETL jobs, and data processing workflows using big data technologies such as Kafka, Hadoop, and Spark

  • Familiarity with API integration, including testing and validating endpoints using tools such as Postman

  • Ability to take initiative, proactively drive topics, and influence outcomes across multiple teams and projects

  • Highly self-motivated, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results

  • Open-minded and curious mindset, with a passion for learning, innovating, and sharing knowledge

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, with proficiency in German considered an advantage

Nice to have:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including confidence in presenting and advocating ideas to diverse stakeholders

  • Exposure to marketing technology concepts, including digital tracking (e.g., pixels), advertising technologies, and CRM / marketing platforms

  • Proficiency in Adobe Experience Platform (RT-CDP, AJO, CJA, AMM) and related Adobe Experience Cloud solutions

  • Familiarity with additional marketing platforms, such as Tenon from ServiceNow, will be regarded as an asset
