The product/ Team:
We are responsible for Allegro, a large-scale application that manages offers, orders and inventory for Enterprise Telco products and solutions of our large B2B customers. We also have a user-friendly frontend for customers to access and manage their commercial inventory online.

Allegro is built by multiple globally distributed agile teams consisting of around 10 internal and external members each. We value teamwork, independence, responsibility, and open communication.


As a Software Developer you will: 

  • Develop applications supporting business processes in the domain of order capture, order fulfilment, product catalogue and inventory management for Swisscom Business Customers
  • Take care of the lifecycle management for our underlying software suite
  • Work on the modernisation of legacy applications and cloud native migration will be your one of your main responsibilities and challenges
  • Collaborate closely with various development teams, product management, and suppliers
  • Ensure that requirements are implemented in a sustainable, entrepreneurial manner, and according to best practices
  • Work with high flexibility in a large lean-agile organisation, based on SAFe

  • Salary from 3300 to 5000 EUR monthly gross

Job requirements

What we expect: 

  • Programming skills in Java, Springboot Microservices and JEE;
  • Know-how with CI/CD pipeline automation tools;
  • Understanding of cloud services, especially Docker and Kubernetes;
  • Experience with event streaming platform Kafka, Elastic Search, Relational DB (i.e., Oracle);
  • Know-how with BPM tools (i.e., Camunda);
  • Know-how in new agile working methods (i.e., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps;
  • Good English communication skills (verbally and in writing);
  • Desire to work in a dynamic team with creative projects to bring our Swisscom internal applications onto the next level;
  • Eager to learn new technologies and methodologies;
  • IT Degree or similar (would be considered as advantage)
