We're expanding our footprint in Riga and actively seeking 50+ DevOps Engineers to join our growing teams within this year.

The team/product

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll join a dynamic team operating in an agile environment. We follow Scrum, SAFe, and conduct retrospectives and PI planning. You'll be essential in designing and developing software solutions in a collaborative, interdisciplinary setting. Responsibilities include software development lifecycle and ensuring high-quality results. Join us if you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

The IT Products team is part of the Release Train (ART) MySB which is structured according to the SAFe Framework. The MySB ART is responsible for My Swisscom Business, the new online portal for our B2B customers. The Team focus on IT Business/Enterprise workplace products and services. 

The Team work in Switzerland as well as in our Swisscom DevOps Center in Riga. We have external colleagues as well at the partner location in India.

 

Working condition:

In this 80-100% position, you will have the opportunity to work partly from home. Work location is Riga (Latvia). 

Role Highlights:

  • Willing to take responsibility end-to-end, beyond implementation – You build it, you run it.

  • Lifecycle Management of the team's service portfolio.

  • Improve application quality and stability.

  • Monitoring the applications and infrastructure.

Job requirements

Must to Have:

  • Experiance with HTML, CSS, TypeScript

  • Experience with Angular Framework

  • Experience with development, build tools (Gitlab, Jira, GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with NgRx state management

  • Experience with micro frontends and build tools such as Nx and Webpack

  • REST APIs, Microservices

  • Experience with End-to-End and automated testing such as: Playwright, Cypress

  • Experience with AWS or other cloud environments

Your qualification

  • Degree (Bachelor's degree or above) in computer science, IT diploma or equivalent relevant working experience

  • Communicative, active contributor who enjoys teamwork as much as sharing ideas and expertise

  • Open-minded, motivated and curious to dive into new topics and acquire new know-how

  • Experience working in an agile environment.

  • Good communication skills in English, German is a plus
