The product/ TeamYou're working in an interdisciplinary team of software and network engineers that ensures the development and operations of a central state-of-the-art security orchestration solution, managing network access and firewalls on a massive scale.


As a DevOps Engineer (Python) you will:

  • Development and maintenance of new and existing software features
  • Closely collaborate with your team members to understand the service and plan the development of new features
  • Introduce best practices for development and testing in the team and foster the built-in quality of the service.
  • Adapt DevOps tooling and processes required for development and testing.
  • Ensure the quality of new releases by integration testing the various system interfaces / APIs
  • Network- and Software Engineering
  • Operational support (3rd level)

Job requirements

  • Several years of practical experience in the field of object-oriented software development (Python, Angular, Golang, etc.) and automation (Python, possibly Ansible or Terraform, etc.)
  • Experience with development tools and software deployment pipeline (GIT, GitLab, Artifactory, etc.) and test automation (Jenkins, Postman, Docker)
  • Experience in the development of network orchestration tools and good knowledge of database systems (MySQL, MariaDB, Postgres)
  • Knowledge of software architecture and design, cloud computing (e.g. AWS Cloud Paradigms, Infrastructure as Code), as well as confident handling of Unix operating systems (Linux)
  • Familiar with various test strategies and test management
