The product and team:

We are looking for experienced and curious SREs/DevOps Engineers that will help us to operate applications on our internal AWS Cloud platform following the SRE principles.
You will provide continuous improvement on the infrastructure of our AWS cloud platform and work closely with internal infrastructure and application teams. We are also strongly striving towards a GitOps approach.

As a DevOps Engineer/SRE, you will play a key role in developing automation tools, as well as running, supporting, maintaining and continuously improving the applications and infrastructure of our AWS cloud platform and GitOps code. You will be responsible for CI/CD, infrastructure, resiliency, observability, security and networking to help our business teams run valuable and reliable applications.

You will: 

  • Building and setting up CI/CD and reliability concepts in an automated and standardized environment
  • Assisting and supporting business teams with AWS infrastructure topics
  • Maintaining automated infrastructure, including lifecycle upgrades of EKS clusters, databases and ArgoCD versions
  • Implementing and managing various CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and release management
  • Collaborating with an international and geographically distributed team, embracing cultural diversity, and engaging with different stakeholders

  • Salary from 2500 to 5000 EUR monthly gross

Job requirements

WHAT WE EXPECT:

  • Proficient in Kubernetes, HELM charts and Crossplane Compositions
  • Strong hands-on experience in programming and scripting languages such as Shell, Python, Java and YAML
  • Hands-on experience in setting up, maintaining, and monitoring services in a public cloud environment, preferably with AWS technologies like EKS, VPC, IAM etc.
  • Expertise in GitOps practices and familiarity with infrastructure and configuration automation tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Independent, but also a team-oriented individual, willing to take on responsibilities
  • Personality that is motivated, independent and curious to learn
  • Good communication and English skills
