The product and team:

We are building and operating a hybrid data platform that spans on-prem infrastructure and AWS. Our platform provides services such as ingestion, transformation, access management, metadata management, machine learning, and analytics. In short, we are building a data mesh platform that enables value extraction from data in a sustainable, fast, and governed way.

As Adobe Data Engineer you will:

  • Supervise and maximize profile identification techniques across all communication channels

  • Extend and Integrate the Adobe Experience Platform with new iAWS-based services

  • Supervise platform performance and identify areas for optimization and improvement

  • Salary from 3700 - 5500 EUR monthly gross (compensation based on your technical expertise and experience level)

Job requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) data structures and integrations with multiple source systems (including defining XDM schemas, datasets, data streams, and unified profile rules)

  • Strong proficiency in Python programming and solid working knowledge of AWS technologies

  • Proven expertise in building, testing, and deploying data pipelines, ETL jobs, and data processing workflows using big data technologies such as Kafka, Hadoop, and Spark

  • Ability to take initiative, proactively drive topics forward, and influence outcomes across multiple teams and projects

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable presenting and “selling” ideas to diverse stakeholders

  • Self-motivated, with a strong commitment to going the extra mile to deliver high-quality results

  • Open-minded and eager to learn, with a passion for bringing forward new ideas and sharing knowledge with others

  • Exposure to marketing technology concepts, including digital tracking (e.g., pixels), advertising technologies, and CRM/marketing platforms such as Salesforce

  • Familiarity with API integration, including the ability to test and validate endpoints using tools such as Postman
