The product/ Team: 

You will work across the entire stack (product and technology) and enjoy new professional and technological challenges. In addition, you like to share your knowledge with motivated team members and users, which also helps you to constantly improve your skills. You will further develop our current monitoring SaaS stack based on Prometheus/Cortex/Grafana for metric-based monitoring and Tempo for distributed tracing (as the main components). Moreover, you will help to implement the monitoring strategy of workloads in the AWSCloud. You enjoy working in agile work environments and enrich the team with your proven cloud and software development skills. You focus on the needs of our users (Swisscom DevOps engineers) and you are constantly trying to make their lives easier by improving the products we deliver. What we offer:

  • Salary from 3300 to 5000 EUR monthly gross

  • 80 EUR monthly cell phone and internet allowance

Job requirements

What we expect:

  • Track record of successfully developing applications in Go with readiness to learn other programming languages in a short time (other programming languages are a plus)

  • Experience to work on Linux platforms and in cloud environments Scripting skills (e.g. Bash, Groovy, etc.)

  • Ability to build CI/CD pipelines and automation framework (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD)

  • Cloud Knowledge (CaaS, Kubernetes, PaaS)

  • Experience with AWS Cloud Services is a plus

  • Experience with monitoring

  • Experience with distributed tracing or analytics solutions is a plus

  • Agile mindset and long term experience with either SCRUM/Kanban or a related agile frameworks

  • Very good English (spoken & written for conversation with customers/users and technical documentation)
