The product/ Team:

You will work in an interdisciplinary, agile engineering team with members in in Latvia and Switzerland to continuously improve the internal developer portal of Swisscom. An internal platform to serve as a first entry point for all engineers to provision services covering the DevSecOps-Lifecycle in a self-serving manner, enabling them to focus on creating business value faster. You will develop, maintain and operate the portal on the entire, modern stack and enjoy new professional and technological challenges.

As a Full Stack Engineer you will:
  • Perform Full Stack software development using trunk based approach and following secure software development practices
  • Contribute to the entire DevOps lifecyle of the application (design, build, test, deliver, maintain, operate)
  • Share your knowledge with motivated team members, which constantly challenge each other to improve each others skills
  • Keep the users in your focus by always improving the product to maximize the value
  • Work in an agile team & organization using agile methodologies and living the agile values and principles

The division between Dev- and Ops workload will be around 80/20 in %.

Job requirements

Must have:
  • Profound knowledge in Angular, Typescript, REST, Golang, TDD, BDD, Frontend Architecture
  • Ability to develop quick and sound solutions to resolve complex issues
  • Passionate about learning new technologies and acquiring new skills
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English

Nice to have:

  • Experience with microfrontend architecture and web components
  • Experience with DevOps tasks (CI/CD, Monitoring)
  • Experience building cloud native applications (Docker, CloudFoundry, Kubernetes, AWS)
  • Experience with Cypress, Cucumber
  • Experience working in Agile teams
