Data Management is about identifying, understanding, and processing data. Knowing which data you have and how it is processed is paramount to ensuring that you are working legally and securely. Within Swisscom we respect our customers data and privacy. Therefore data management plays a fundamental role with how processes and services are designed in our complex organization.
The Data Governance Manager ensures that governance, data quality and protection issues are identified, addressed and maintained in a consistent and efficient manner.
As a Data Governance Manager you will assess the quality and value of core data assets, respond to regulatory protection requirements, define and design security mechanisms within application architectures as well as support the strategic objectives of the department of working in a cloud native manner with partners from all over the world.

- Salary from 4000 to 5000 EUR monthly gross.

Job requirements
- Bachelors or master’s in computer science, MIS, or Information Management;
- Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection;
- Good knowledge of data compliance & security (DSG/GDPR/ISO27001)
- Strong know-how in security protection of IT applications (tooling, governance, etc)
- Enthusiastic for new, cloud-native technologies and solution approaches as well as for working in an agile environment and its methods Independent and reliable way of working;
- Very good English;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Flexible, self-motivated, and committed personality with reliability, who maintains an overview even in a complex environment;
- Highest personal and professional integrity and strong work ethics;
- Results orientation, willingness to commit to a direction and drive operations to completion;
- Demonstrated ability to manage adversity and challenging situations;
- Availability to travel within Continental Europe on regular basis.
