The product/ Team: 


We as the Cloud transformation Teams provide highly standardized, everything as code engineering experience according to SRE practices. We take care of all the heavy lifting terms of infrastructure, resilience, observability, security and networking and thereby enable our BizDevOps Teams to hyper focus on customer value creation and service operations. We transform our application portfolio into cloud native and migrate it standardized to internal AWS.


AS CLOUD SITE RELIABILITY ENGINEER YOU WILL:

  • Support the business teams in transforming their applications towards cloud native and migrating them to AWS.
  • Implement and maintain migration capabilities, automatic migration pipelines together with other colleagues.
  • Support the business teams in transforming the applications towards microservice architecture based on either Kubernetes, server less or a combination of both.
  • Collaborate closely with the "Mission 100" teams in order to implement all capabilities needed to operate the workloads following the SRE approach (operations with software means). This includes GitOps CI/CD, observability, automatic policy validation, etc.
  • Work in an international and geographically distributed team with cultural diversity and interact with other different stakeholders.
  • Ensure that requirements are implemented in a sustainable, entrepreneurial manner, and according to best practices.
  • Enjoy working in our multidisciplinary DevOps team in a SAFe context.

Job requirements

WHAT WE EXPECT:

  • Experience with Kubernetes stack
  • Hands-on experience in setting up, maintaining and monitoring services in public cloud environment (ideally AWS technologies like EKS, VPC, IAM etc)
  • Experience configuring observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch etc
  • Expertise in GitOps practices, know-how of infrastructure and configuration automation tools like Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible etc
  • Experience with agile methodologies preferably in an international setup is an advantage
  • Degree in computer science (an advantage)
  • Personality that is motivated, independent and curious to learn
  • Good communication and English (business fluent) skills
